
How is the OGSM Process done?
The OGSM process is a key stage in a business's change management programme and normally follows a detailed manufacturing audit measuring the current state of lean practices and reliability. The process involves all of a site's senior management team and key stake holders in the manufacturing operation. The process has 6 key stages which involve between 3 and 5 workshop days and involve:
- Building the vision
- Alignment of the teams
- Identifying and addressing the barriers and concerns
- creating a project structure
- Building a plan to implement the strategy
- Sharing the vision and the plan
